Hi! I’m Denise – I’m so glad you’re here!

My greatest joy is serving others through discipleship and sharing the Gospel. I’m honored to be an active biblical counselor with the Cornerstone Biblical Counseling Ministry, where I continue to help women grow in their faith and understanding of God’s truth. After decades in full-time ministry, I’m now enjoying a new season of life in retirement while staying deeply involved in the work I love.

My ministry journey began in 1989 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Roseville, MI, where I served as the Children’s Ministry Director. In 2001, I transitioned to lead the Women’s Ministries. During that time, I obtained certification through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, which I maintained for several years.

Throughout my time in Women’s Ministry, I had the privilege of counseling women and equipping them to biblically disciple others. My greatest desire has always been to help women understand the Gospel, believe in Christ, and embrace their identity in Him. Whether organizing social events or leading Bible studies, my mission has been to encourage, teach, and train women to live biblically.

I’ve been married to my husband for 52 years. Together, we have two adult children and five grandchildren. God’s faithfulness in my life has been an incredible blessing, and I’m grateful to continue serving Him in this new season.
